I was born and raised in the North of the Netherlands. An important part of being Dutch is looking outward, finding places to escape the flatness of the local countryside, and looking for people who aren’t all blond and blue-eyed. Cinema offers a solution.

I currently study Arts, Culture and Media at the University of Groningen. With my friend and roommate Gonneke, I make a bi-weekly podcast on film (in Dutch). I'm also a (film-)photographer
